Our
mission

Camp Thrive’s mission is to create a joyful, inclusive, and sensory-friendly camp where children of all abilities can participate fully, build meaningful relationships, and experience success. We celebrate each child's strengths, honor their individuality, and create an environment where they can build confidence, connect, and thrive.

Every child deserves a camp where they feel safe, understood, celebrated, and can fully participate in their own way and at their own pace. Camp Thrive is not defined by diagnosis or behaviors. It is defined by belonging, joy, and the belief that every child deserves a summer built around who they are, not what they struggle with.

PARENT TESTIMONIALS

"Camp has become a place where my nonverbal autistic daughter truly feels like she belongs. Every summer, she is so excited to return to the familiar, friendly faces who have become like family to her, and as her mom, I finally get to experience something I never thought summer could bring... relief, knowing she has a place where she is welcomed, respected, treated with dignity, and able to simply be herself."

Financial Accessibility

Camp Thrive was a vision in response to the high community need for summertime experiences that accommodate the abilities of all children. We aim to make the camp experience accessible to families regardless of household income by offering financial assistance to as many campers as possible. We also encourage families to take advantage of community grants and resources, including programs offered through Metropolitan Human Services District and JPHSA, to help expand access to camp participation.

We believe cost shouldn't be the reason a child misses out on camp
